How to Upload Documents in the Client Portal

How to Upload Documents

Hi and welcome the Taxrise video tutorials for the Client Portal. Today we are going to be talking about Uploading Documents. Where to go, how to upload, and what to expect while navigating your tax resolution journey. 


Hopefully, you are successfully signed in to the Client Portal. If you have not done so, check out our other video on Logging into the Client Portal. 


Let's navigate to the client portal now. 


Steps:

  1. Enter the Taxrise Client Portal URL in your browser: client.taxrise.com

  2. Enter your Case ID and Password. 

    1. If you need to reset your password, click the forgot password link. 

  3. Click Sign-In Button. 

  4. Welcome to the Dashboard. 


Once we are on the Dashboard we can use the navigation tabs on the left hand rail to move through Client Portal. We will click on Upload Documents to take us to the Document Upload page inside the Portal. Let's do that now. 


From the Upload Documents tab, we see a page that lists out file categories. We need to upload the appropriate documents to their respective categories. So, Bank Statements will be uploaded to the Bank Statement Section, Pay stubs uploaded to the Pay Stub section, and utility bills properly uploaded to the respective sections. You will continue uploading documents until you've upload all needed documents as requested. And just a reminder, If you are married you will also need to upload your spouses' documents. 


Let's go ahead and upload some documents now. 


See how simple it is to provide the needed documents for your tax resolution journey.
